Our Story and Our Mission

Our company started in 2017 as an online digital tourism company. We had tours listed on our site from over 30 countries and ran our customer service from Panama City. At our core, we were software developers, and we built our own technology systems, websites, and online portals. We were growing every year and fighting hard against some of the biggest global tourism companies in the world. We were slowly but surely having success, and the future looked very good. In March 2020 the pandemic arrived. Tourism was the worst hit industry in the world. We lost everything in the space of the few days. Our years of work and investment was all gone.

We were determined to not let the pandemic stop us. Sitting in our homes, with our computers, office chairs, and remote meetings, we took the decision to launch Pana Compu. We decided that we wanted to build an E-Commerce technology store that was different to the rest. Our E-Commerce store was going to be different for 3 reasons:

The Website: We wanted to use the newest and fastest software development techniques to make the fastest and easiest to use website, 100% built and coded by us.
Customer Service: We decided to take our high-quality customers service from our tourism company and offer the same high level of customer service in our E-Commerce tech store.
Product Variety: We wanted to bring the variety of technology products that exist in Europe and North America to Latin America. This means that we should sell both affordable technology and high-end powerful technology.

Keeping those 3 reasons always in mind, we started coding as fast as we could to get our systems and website built. We finished coding and sold our first product online in February 2021. We had total sales in our first month of 49 dollars.

The Website

We believe our website is the best in the market. It is fast, clean, and has filters that allow you find the products that you are looking for. You can buy on our site without having to create an account, and we have very detailed and accurate information about every product.

Of course, behind the website there are several systems built by us, allowing us to manage your orders, coordinate our same day delivery service in Panama City, and manage our accounting and finances.

Customer Service

As we were a tourism company, we learned a lot about offering good service, both over email, chat, call and of course in person to people doing their tours. We know how to have fun and treat people well. We have brought these principals into Pana Compu. We aim to respond to peoples’ questions quickly and accurately. It is very important for us to do everything that we say we will do. This includes, deliver products on time, process refunds quickly, give amazing after purchase support and help with all warranty requests.

To prove that we are dedicated to good customer support, we even opened physical stores where you can feel more comfortable collecting your products in case you do not want delivery. We have the stores strategically placed to best suit our customers. We plan to open more stores in the future to be able to assist more customers.

Product Variety

As we are computer nerds, and we love technology, we always look for the best and the newest. In Europe and The United States you can get a huge range of products, from low-end to high-end. In Latin America it is especially difficult to get high-end products, and also hard to find a variety of Products. We continue to work to bring as much variety as possible to Latin America, including the high-end Products that you cannot get in the local stores.

The Future

At the time of writing this, we are operating in Panama, and have 3 stores. We are achieving more than a million dollars of sales each year and growing every month. We feel this is a huge success as it is only two and half years since we sold our first product.

Our plan is very simple. We plan to open Pana Compu in as many countries as possible in Latin America, providing a variety of products and excellent customer service, and having the best website backed by the best technology.
